Otto Walker, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2021 in Spring Hill, TN.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was 95 years old. Otto was born in Tazwell, TN on March 29, 1926 and grew up on his grandparents farm.  At age 19 he headed to Michigan for work and worked at several jobs including Firestone and on the freighter ships in Sault Ste. Marie.  He then returned to Tennessee where he married his bride Marjorie. They moved to Michigan to start their married life and lived in Wyandotte and South Rockwood where they raised their family.  They were married for 61 years.

Otto worked at Pennwalt Chemical for over 25 years.  When not working, Otto loved the outdoors gardening, fishing up north Michigan and Florida and hunting with his beloved dog, Cigany. He was also a talented handyman and worked on many projects helping his children on their homes and at church. Always willing to lend a hand, he was a hard working and honest man with integrity and values that reflected his faith. Marjorie and his family were his top priority and he provided much love and support to them and his grandkids over the years.  Raising his children in a Christian home and seeing them live out their faith brought him great joy.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie(Silcox), sister Cecil(West), brother Ray Walker, sister Jean(Bean), and son-in-law Bill Sturgeon.

He is survived by his daughter Angie Brown(Jim), son Wayne Walker(Joy), son Larry Walker(Holly), grandchildren; Julie Krager(Jon), Carmen Woudstra(Lee), Morgan Swier(Dan), Tyler Walker(Logan), Jake Walker, Samantha Laing(Brian), Mallory Walker, great-grandchildren; Nathan, Trevor, Jackson, Anna, Brooke, Kate, Eva, Levi, David, Kennedy and Jack.  Step grandchildren; Phil (Sara), Mark (Crystal), Julianne, step great-grandchildren; Kellen, Ethan, Veronica.
