Pamela Belt Thompson

Pamela Jo Belt Thompson, age 72, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Life Care Center.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Rush officiating. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pamela was born on May 13, 1951, in Robertson County, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late Robert Belt and the late Joyce England Belt. She was a 1969 graduate of Giles County High School and dedicated over thirty years of her career as a service representative for Bellsouth/AT&T before retiring. Pamela was a devoted member of Mooresville Baptist Church. She had a passion for reading and enjoyed crocheting. Above all, her heart belonged to her family, with a special love for her cherished grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Randy Thompson of Columbia, TN, Ben (Tiffany) Thompson of Mt. Juliet, TN, siblings, Mike (Janet) Belt of Columbia, TN, Stephanie (Eddie) Allred of Culleoka, TN, John Mark (Janice) Belt of Pulaski, TN, grandchildren, Jeffrey Thompson, Jr., Alex Thompson, Donovan Thompson, and Leo Thompson, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
