Patricia Faye Dungy Adkins

Patricia Faye Dungy Adkins, 72, of Summertown, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at her home.

A memorial service to honor and remember Patricia will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, with Lyndall Propst officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements.

Born in Maury County on April 26, 1951, Patricia was the daughter of Thomas Edward “T.E.” Dungy and Bessie Thompson Dungy. Patricia proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. A nature enthusiast, she found solace in sitting on her back porch, sipping coffee, and watching the birds. One of her greatest joys was when her son, Gregory, would bring his dogs for visits, bringing laughter and warmth to their time together.

Patricia leaves behind her fiancé, Richard Seagraves; son, Gregory “Chad” Adkins; daughter, Kathleen “Katie” (Ronald) Marme; brothers, Gary Dungy and Joey Dungy; sister, Bethany Dungy; and adored grandchildren, Damien Alexander and Devin Andrew Marme.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward and Bessie Dungy, and her brothers, Jessie, Wendel, and Dennis Dungy.
