Patricia Kay Delk, age 71, resident of Lawrenceburg and formerly of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22 nd at 11am at Heritage Funeral Home with Rickey Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, October 21 st from 4-6pm at the funeral home. The family requests anyone attending to please follow the CDC guidelines for Covid 19. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Patricia was a native of Columbia and was the daughter of the late Dory Lawrence Adams and the late Grace Gilliam Adams. She graduated from Central High School and was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg. She worked for BellSouth for thirty years as an engineering clerk. After retiring, she worked for Maury Regional Hospital taking pictures of all the newborn babies. Patricia enjoyed painting and working in her flowers at her house. Most of all, she loved reading and studying her Bible and helping anyone that needed it. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Brent) Pendleton of Lawrenceburg; sister, Vickie (Jim) Matthews of Pegram; and grandchildren, Laurelle Patmore, McClain Delk, Carynne Delk, Mason Delk, Ryan Pendleton, Justin Pendleton, and Lauren Pendleton.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Delk on February 2, 2013, and brother, Jerry Adams.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
