Patsy Clardy Johnson

Patsy Clardy Johnson, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at her residence in Columbia, Tennessee, at the age of 82.

Born on November 22, 1941, in Ethelsville, Alabama, Patsy was the beloved daughter of the late John E. Clardy, Sr. and Mattie Mae Glenn Clardy. On July 3, 1971, she married Louis H. Johnson, sharing a life filled with love and joy.

Known for her warm and welcoming nature, Patsy never met a stranger. She had a remarkable ability to endear herself to all who crossed her path, but her deepest affection was reserved for her cherished granddaughter, the light of her life, Taylor. Patsy was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Marty Johnson, daughter in love, Nichole Hill Johnson, and granddaughter, Taylor Johnson all of Franklin, TN, sisters, Nell Pate of Buhl, AL, Betty Lofton of Columbus, MS, Glenda Woodson of Petal, MS, brothers, Lonnie Clardy of Columbus, MS, Roger Clardy of Smithville, MS, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, special friends, Linda Simmons of Caledonia, MS and Nancy Cook of Columbus, MS.

The family requests no flowers but asks that memorial donations be made to The Mustard Seed, Inc., 1085 Luckney Road, Brandon, MS 39047.

There will be no funeral service. Patsy has requested to be cremated. Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25th, 11am-3pm, for a Celebration of Life at their home at 2100 Zion Rd, Columbia, TN 38401.

Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee is assisting the family with arrangements.
