Paul Jean du Kor, Jr. of Lewisburg, Tennessee

July 19, 1970 - October 26, 2019

Mr. Paul Jean du Kor, Jr., age 49, husband of Alicia Buchanan du Kor, and a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his residence.

The family will celebrate his life with services at later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 19, 1970 in Tokyo, Japan, Paul was the son of Paul du Kor, Sr. and Linda Reese du Kor. He worked as a telecommunication technician for video and telephone service and computer/internet for twenty-five years and worked in hurricane restoration in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Paul was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, a Dodge truck fanatic and loved anything Marvel. He was an excellent cook and dedicated CB & Ham radio operator, AKA: “I B 1 and only Cutter.”

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children: Dallas (Savannah) du Kor of Lewisburg, Kristina (Christopher) Hess of Kansas, Tessa du Kor (Cody Fisher) of Lewisburg, Jamie du Kor of Lewisburg; sister, Tara (David) du Kor-Jackson; grandchildren: Darren McCumber, Rain Hess, Kain Hess; grandchild on the way, Hope Fisher; mother and father in law: James & Jo Ann Buchanan; sisters in law: Barbi (Joe) Henry and Crystal (Jay) Mullenix; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kristopher Tice.
