Pauline Zelma Grose, age 80, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dodrill officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 12-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 23, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio, Pauline was the daughter of the late Glen Clay and the late Dorothy Dillion Wiseman. She worked nearly ten years at Kroger in Franklin in the bakery and customer service. In her younger years, she enjoyed canning, crocheting and grocery shopping.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Greg) Paxson of Columbia; brother, Carl (Linda) Clay of Ohio; grandchildren: John (Sara) Paxson, Jesse (Beth) Paxson, Jack (Jessica) Paxson, Bob (Heather) Paxson; great grandchildren: Emma, Allie, Sophia, Scarlette, Castle, Piper, Tucker, and Annabelle Paxson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Grose and siblings: Emory Clay, Roger Clay, Lucille Wemple, and Rita Veil.
Pallbearers will be: Greg, John, Jesse, and Jackson Paxson.
