Peggy Sue Victory, age 79, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Chris Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on April 14, 1941 in Hickman County, Peggy was the daughter of the late Elmer Brake and the late Mary Louella Wright Brake. She married Jim Victory in December of 1958; he preceded her in death on May 30, 2016. She worked over twenty years at Nukote in Franklin before retiring in 2007. Peggy enjoyed sitting under her pine tree and tending to her Cat. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Peggy was of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by her son, Charles Victory (Mary Riddle) of Lewisburg; daughters: Tereasa (Trey) Alley of Spring Hill, Carolyn (Kenneth) Spahr of Giles County, Wilma Sue Victory of Pulaski, Deborah Waller of Hickman County; brother, Ricky (Donna) Brake of Waverly; sister, Martha Jane Potter of Waverly; grandchildren: Crysty Jackson, Tina Tate, Jonathan Potts, Charles Victory, Jr., Brandi Parks, Tiffany Rhea; and eleven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Ann Elizabeth Shanes, Melvin Eugene Brake, and Johnny T. Brake.
Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Potts, Charles Victory, Jr., David Mitchell, Desmond Rogers, Dallas Victory, and John Victory.
