Peggy Woodard

Peggy Woodard, age 72, resident of Santa Fe, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her residence.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Peggy was born in Maury County and was the daughter of the late Alfred Sharp and the late Lena Brooks Bradford.  She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church on Snow Creek Road in Santa Fe.  Peggy enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, and cooking.  She was a lady that loved animals, especially her horses and mules.  She was an exceptional lady that will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty five years, Wendell Woodard of Santa Fe; son, Andy (Terry) Sanders of Columbia; daughter, Dana Jenkins of Franklin; brothers, Eddie (Kay) Sharpe, Sam Bradford, and Danny Bradford; sisters, Pam Bradford and Kathy Alexander; grandchildren, Jimmy (Emily) Sanders, Robbie (Amanda) Sanders, Justin (Nicole) Jenkins, Joe Marlin, Zack (Molly) LeMire, Kayla (Marcus) Shephard, and David Shane Raymer; and many great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her son, David Shane Sanders.
