Phyllis Irwin

Mrs. Phyllis Shelton Irwin, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center.

She is survived by her husband Sylvan Ernest Irwin, III, sister Priscilla Chirtel Adams, three sons Van Irwin, Mike Irwin, and Anthony Irwin, six grandchildren, and five great children.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elaine McClain Chirtel  and father John Parker Shelton.

She attended Haylong High School and graduated from Columbia State Community College as an RN, working as a nurse for over thirty years.

There will be a family only service.
