Phyllis Rogers, age 60, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at her residence.
The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born November 4, 1959 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Phyllis was the daughter of the late William Duncan and Louise Williams Randall. She was married to Edward Rogers and worked in the Walmart Deli for many years where she met a lot of people who loved her dearly. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and watching movies. Phyllis loved being a grandmother and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Glass Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by her sons: Eric Duncan of Columba, Terrell (Alexus) Duncan of Michigan, Jamar (Sheena) Duncan of Columbia; twin brother: Michael Duncan of New Jersey; brother Polkey Duncan of Arkansas; sister: Francies Duncan, of Columbia; grandchildren: Aiyana Hamlin, SHeadon Hamlin, Jamar “Christopher” Duncan, Jr., Da’Vantray Clark, Melaynie Williams, Da’Mone Duncan, La’Mia Duncan, and Mille Watson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Floyd Duncan, Tracy Duncan, Frankie Duncan, William Duncan, Levester Randall, and James Duncan.
