Richard Dewayne Clark, age 75, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Troy Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on March 6, 1947, in Maury County, Wayne was the son of the late Richard Anderson Clark and the late Arlene Marie Potts Clark. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed operating Wayne’s Produce stand on Trotwood Avenue for many years. He owned Iron Horse Auction in Lynnville. Dewayne enjoyed car racing and car shows. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his wife, Delorese Clark, daughter, Stacey Yvonne Clark (David) Taylor, stepchildren, Mike Mencer, Carl (Pamela) Mencer, Deborah Mencer, Thomas (Melissa) Mencer, brother, Wendell Dwight (Louise) Clark, twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Dewayne Clark, Jr.
