Richard "Dick" W. Lambert, Jr.

Mr. Richard “Dicky” Lambert, Jr., age 88, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his residence.

A private family memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home with an inurnment in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 15, 1932 in North Uxbridge, Massachusetts, Richard was the son of the late Richard W. Lambert, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Alice Blodgett Lambert. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and during his service was a guard at the White House and The Tomb of The Unknown Solider. He was an avid sports fan, especially golf. Richard was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Patricia Masterson (Gaetano Leone) of Columbia, TN; brother, William E. (Mary) Lambert of Rutland, MA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion Bergeron Lambert, second wife, Janet Perron Lambert; brother, Kenneth F. Lambert; and brother-in-law, Gilbert W. Masterson.

Honorary pallbearers will include: Oudom Sychantha, Jeffrey Gallacher, Michael Masteron, Derrick Sychantha, Brandon Gallacher, and William Michael Cherry, Jr.
