Rickey Dale Smith, resident of Belfast, TN, passed away Thursday, September 23, his 65 ^th birthday, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville surrounded by his family.

No service for Rickey are scheduled at the present time. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born, September 23, 1956 in Fayetteville, TN, son of Martha Ellen Boldin Smith and the late Garland Smith, Jr. He was married to Judy Kay Anderson Smith. They owned and operated the Marvin’s Family Restaurant in Lewisburg for over 7 years. He previously worked in sales for the Coca~Cola Company in Chicago. Rickey enjoyed doing yardwork, was a Yankee’s baseball fan, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and he was a Christian of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, Rickey is survived by his son: Scott Smith of Belfast; daughter: Stephanie Mae Wilson of Fayetteville; brother: Timmy Smith of Chicago; sisters: Rita Faye Easterwood and Connie Wojdyla, both of Chicago; grandchildren: Scott Frank Smith, Zachary Ricky Smith, Lucas Tristan Smith and Kevin Dillman Wilson; daughter-in-law: Edith Smith; son-in-law: Bobby Wilson.
