Ricky Eugene McCormick

Ricky Eugene McCormick, age 58, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at his residence. 

Born on February 11, 1966, in Bradford, Tennessee, Ricky was the son of the late Terry Braun and the late Brenda Holder Young. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and boating. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs and his cherished children. 

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Derrickson McCormick, children, Nicholas McCormick, Timothy (Jackie) Shaw, Ashley Shaw, Daniel (Serenia) Behrens, sister, Lisa Merritt, and grandchildren, Cody McCormick, Rileigh McCormick, Kayleigh McCormick, Nicholas McCormick, Jr., Lily Shaw, Leah Shaw, and Amias Shaw. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Michael McCormick and Joseph McCormick, and sister, Carol Harris.
