Robert Steven Geisman

Mr. Robert Steven Geisman, age 74, a resident of Chapel Hill, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at his residence.

A private graveside service will be held at Maury Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Born on January 19, 1946 in Wells County, Indiana, Robert was the son of the late Robert Alva Geisman and the late Doris Gweneath Kleinight Geisman. A very patriotic man who was dedicated to his country, Robert loved America and was a veteran of the United States Army. He previously worked as a machine repairman for General Motors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Nashville Predators hockey fan. Above all, Robert loved his family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gearheart Geisman of Chapel Hill; son, Matthew Steven (Paulene) Geisman of Englewood, TN; daughters: Mindi (Greg) Johnson of Columbia, TN, Gwen (Shawn) Follis of Pottstown, PA, Angie (David) Potts of Columbia, TN, Jami Dewese of Chapel Hill; brothers: Neal (Camille) Geisman, David (Cindy) Geisman; sister-in-law, Donna Geisman; fourteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Geisman and son-in-law, Rodney Dewese.
