Robert Mark Hardison

Robert Mark Hardison, age, 63, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his residence.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on March 7, 1961, Mark was the son of Joe Lane Hardison and the late Elizabeth “RoRo” Robey Demastus.

Mark attended tech school and became a self-employed welder, a profession he was passionate about and excelled in throughout his life.  On April 5, 1980, Mark married the love of his life, Cheryl, and together they built a life full of love and joy. Mark was a man who lived by his own rules, known for his loving heart and infectious smile. His laughter was contagious, and he never met a stranger, always welcoming new friends into his life.  He loved bonfires, creating metal art, and gathering with his family and friends. Music was a significant part of his life, and he enjoyed attending concerts.  Above all, Mark's unconditional love for his family was the cornerstone of his life.

Mark is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lynn Hardison; daughters, Holly (John) Hardison, Hannah Hardison (Bobby), and Gabrielle Elice Hardison (Larry);  brothers, Carter Hardison and Brett (Brandon) Hardison; sisters, Eve(Mark) Kincaid; grandchildren, Samantha (Chay) Hardison, Cameron (Leiah) Hardison, Jordan Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Leighton Johnson, Aubrey Elice Fenwick; and his father, Joe Lane Hardison.
