Robert Lee "Walking Man" Davis of Columbia, Tennessee

Robert Lee “Walking Man” Davis, age 64, a resident of Columbia, passed away May 12, 2023 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

A memorial service for Robert will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Timothy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Saturday.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born March 25, 1959 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Junior Davis and Loberta Webster Davis and step-son of Minnie Davis. He attended Mt. Williamson Baptist Church. His hobbies included watching sports, movies and playing chess.

Robert is survived by his son: Robert “Damion” White of Columbia; sisters: Sylvia (Tony) Hatton of Murfreesboro and Margaret Wilson-Campbell of Columbia; and four grandchildren; last living aunt: Gladys Johnson, Nashville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Angeline Holmes.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Columbia Central High School Girls Rugby Team.
