Robert Lee Ridenour, age 71, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, at his residence.

Born on November 17, 1950, in Trenton, Michigan, Bob was the son of the late Horace Lee Ridenour and the late Roberta Carter Ridenour. He was a hard-working jack of many trades and was formerly employed as a truck driver and electrician. He previously worked for Action Homes and Keith Baker Homes and most recently worked for Henry Horton State Park before retiring. He had a special love for his dog, Snow, and you could often find him enjoying a ham roll, oatmeal pie, and an ice-cold Mountain Dew. Bob enjoyed watching westerns and loved helping others.

He is survived by his son, Robert Richard (April) Ridenour, brother, Larry Ridenour, sisters, Joan (Jim) Mahas, Jean (Alan) Hayes, Jane Johnson, Christine Flatford, grandchildren, Josh (Selena) Ridenour, Gabby Laurel, Brandon Ridenour, Nathaniel Huntzinger, Caitlyn Ridenour, Darrick Ridenour, Destiny “Tiny” Ridenour and great-grandchild, Jaxon Ridenour.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette Laurel, and seven brothers and sisters.
