Robert Lee Spurlock, Sr.

Mr. Robert Lee Spurlock, Sr., age 74, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Freedom in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 9-11AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 8, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona, Robert was the son of the late William Spurlock and the late Mary Edna Roberts Seats. He served his country in the United States Army for thirty-two years before retiring in 1995 as an S4 Sargent. He also enjoyed bowling and woodworking.

He is survived by his children: Robert L. Spurlock, Jr. of Spring Hill, John W. (Debbie) Spurlock of Fort Worth, TX, Kathy (John) Davisson of Spring Hill; brothers: Rick (Anita) Marshall, Charles (Kathy) Marshall; sisters: Donna (Louie) Romero, Carol (Henry) Foor; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; the mother of his children: Dianna Thomas; and fur grandbabies: Roxanne, Lulabell, and Jo Jo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson: Cole Spurlock; brother: Stan Sulimowicz; and sister: Sandra Sulimowicz.
