Robert Dixon Thomas

Robert Dixon Thomas, age 79, a resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, formerly of Moundsville, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday morning, March 23, 2025, at his residence.

Born on February 28, 1946, in Marshall County, West Virginia, Robert was the son of the late Charles Wesley Thomas and the late Georgia Helena Blakemore Thomas. He dedicated many years to working as a coal miner until he became disabled. Robert took pride in maintaining a pristine yard and garden. He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his children, Kelsey Thomas (Adam Clark), Scott Thomas, Cody Thomas, Joey Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Howard Thomas, Barbara Thomas, Tammy Thomas, sisters, Linda Clark, Judy Ward, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Kelley and brother, Charles Thomas, Jr.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
