Robert Wayne Tomlinson of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

July 15, 1957 - December 2, 2019

Mr. Robert Wayne Tomlinson, age 62, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Monday morning, December 2, 2019 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1PM at County Line Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg with Rev. Gene Staggs officiating. Burial will follow in Spann Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 11AM-1PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 5, 1957 in Trousdale County, Tennessee, Robert was the son of Eva Frances Grissham Staggs and the late James Robert Tomlinson. He enjoyed restoring old furniture and loved working in his shop and going to yard sales with his mother.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: Kerri (Daniel) Cummins of Lawrenceburg, Eva (Bobby) Goodwin of Toney, AL, Robert Wayne Tomlinson, II of Lawrenceburg, Steven Michael Tomlinson of Lawrenceburg; brother, Edgar Douglas Tomlinson of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren: Destiny, Kaytlin, Laila, Alice Sue, Braxton, Hunter, Ethan, Preslee; great grandchild, Kaizley; nieces: Regan Huffines, Jessica Tomlinson, Tessa Tomlinson, and Victoria Tomlinson; and nephews: Zepplin Woods, Johnathan Tomlinson, and Bryan Tomlinson.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James “Joe” Tomlinson and Gordon Berry.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
