Roderick “Ricky” Charles Ebernickel, II, age 36, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 23, 1986, in Dearborn, Michigan, Ricky was the son of Roderick Charles Ebernickel, Sr. and the late Delta Morgan Landtroop. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Christine Thacker of Culleoka, Delta J. (Jeffrey) Ambrose of Culleoka, Sandra Pratt of Summertown, Rita Gray of Georgia, brothers, David (Julie) Thacker of Michigan, Aaron Thacker of Michigan, Johnny Ray Ebernickel of Santa Fe, and Marvin (Elise) Begley of Columbia, Bryan Begley of Columbia, and significant other, Cayla Hunt of Columbia. Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Marie Ebernickel.
