Ronald Giles

Mr. Ronald Eugene Giles, age 74, a resident of Nolensville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 8, 2020 at NHC in Columbia.

There will be a private family service at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Ron was born December 29, 1945 in Nashville, TN, and was the son of the late Milford Reese Giles, and the late Mary Sandusky Giles. He served in the National Guard for 3 years, where he performed duties as a cook. He was a devoted husband and father, who enjoyed activities like fishing and baking. Ron was also a member of the Sunset Hills Baptist Church.

Ron is survived by his wife of 53 years: Sherry Giles; daughter: Jennifer (Chris) Markham of Murfreesboro; son: Chris (Patricia) Giles of Thompson Station; and grandson: John Tyler Giles of Nolensville.

In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by siblings: Jimmy Giles, Thom Giles, and Elaine Ground.
