Sabina "Salley" Warren

Sabina Lygene Warren, age 66, resident of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Salley was born October 15, 1957, in Homer, New York and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Lois Harris. She was a veteran in the United States Army and dedicated many years to her career as a preschool teacher. She was a member of Shreveport Baptist Temple.  Most of all she loved Jesus and her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest Warren of Columbia, Tennessee; sons, Bobby Schaper of Wyoming, Joe Schaper of Indiana, and Charles Harris of Louisiana; daughter, Stephanie Schaper of Louisiana; stepchildren, Duane (Michelle) Warren of Columbia, Tennessee, Tina (Jerry) Underwood of New York, and Holly Etheridge of Georgia; twenty-nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Seana Cline.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22nd at 10:00 am at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Paul officiating.  The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Homer, New York at a later date.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
