Sandra Jane Cox, age 57, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 28, 1966, in Enterprise, Oregon, Sandra was the daughter of the late Donald Stanley Cox and the late Aline Holder Cox. She earned her Associates Degree from Columbia State Community College and was a member of Santa Fe Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, crocheting, reading, and playing on her computer. She had a special love for animals, especially her beloved cats.

She is survived by her brothers, David Cox, Douglas Cox, and nieces and nephews, Darrell Cox, Shannon Lowe, Adam Scott, Charity (James) Gibson, and Kristina Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister in law, Pam Cox.

Pallbearers will be David Cox, Douglas Cox, Adam Scott, and James Gibson.
