Sandra Hux

Sandra Camille Tolson Hux, age 67, a resident of Pulaski, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her daughter’s residence in Lawrenceburg.

A celebration visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Ethridge First Baptist Church. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sandra was born on September 13, 1954 and was the daughter of the late James Edsel Tolson and the late Mary Elizabeth Reise Tolson. She had a special place in her heart for children so much so that she was a foster parent and previously a labor and delivery nurse. She also loved animals, especially dogs and often enjoyed riding horses. Sandra enjoyed vacations at the beach, and above all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald S. Hux, Michael G. (Jessica) Hux, Riley Hux, and Jason Hux, daughter, Kelly M. (Randy) Southall, brother, Glen Tolson, sisters, Susan Throgmorton, Rita Watkins, grandchildren, Kara (Brandon) Johnson, Kelsy (David) Harell, Mary Jean Hux, and great grandchildren, Bransen Johnson, Bexley Johnson, and Kaizleigh Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James W. Tolson.
