Sandra Sue "Sally Moon" Bruce Neal

Sandra Sue “Sally Moon” Bruce Neal, age 68, a resident of La Vergne, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Williamson Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Simmons Cemetery in Franklin. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 28, 1954, in Franklin, Tennessee, Sandra was the daughter of the late George Bruce and the late Estelle Bennett Bruce. She spent her entire life in the Williamson County area. She worked many years as an assistant on a special education bus before retiring. Sandra was an avid reader and loved music. In her younger years, she was always the life of the party. Sandra was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Lori) Simon of Columbia, James “JR” Neal, Jr. of Crossville, daughter, Cayce Marie Neal of La Vergne, brother, Anthony Bruce, grandchildren, Justin Neal, CJ Neal, Catherine Estelle Bond, Tyler Pewitt, and Kelton Bagsby, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Fay Garner, Randall G. Bruce, and Larry Bruce.
