Sharon D. Woepse

Sharon D. Woepse, age 74, resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 19th at 4:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.  The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 2:00 pm until the 4:00 pm service at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sharon was born January 7, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Daniel Wayne Ater and the late Marcella Barbara Ater.  She was a simple lady who enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and loved her dogs like they were her grandchildren.  She attended The Church at the Mount.  She was a lady who everyone loved and that’s because of her personality traits of being selfless, loving, caring, and forgiving.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Karen (Jason) Howard of Lawrenceburg, TN; Kay Christensen, who was like a sister; and best friend, Wanda Pope.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Wayne Ater, Jr.
