Sheila Pearson Kirchhoff

Sheila Pearson Kirchhoff, age 65, wife of Joseph Kirchhoff, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her residence.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.  The family will visit with friends from 3:00 PM until the 5:00 PM service.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sheila was born in the city of Guelph in Ontario, Canada and was the daughter of the late Jack Pearson and the late Sydney G. Judge Pearson.  She graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing.  She worked as a certified case manager for Cigna Health Springs.  Sheila enjoyed reading, playing scrabble, animals and especially rescue animals, classic movies, and TV shows.  She also enjoyed the Scottish culture and a good fish and chips and ale in a hole in the wall pub.  She was a lady that had a servant’s heart and loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Along with her husband, Joseph Kirchhoff, she is survived by her son, Drew (Jesse) Kirchhoff; daughter, Tessa Kirchhoff; and grandchildren, Nora Leigh, Madalene Leigh, Sydney Kirchhoff, and Rowen Kirchhoff.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her close family friend, Kathy Button.
