Shirley Campbell

Shirley Jean Ellard Campbell, age 68, a resident of McMinnville, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Haynes Cemetery in Culleoka. A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 12-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Shirley was born on February 25, 1950 in Talladega, Alabama. She was a country music fan who loved gardening and visiting with her family, especially her grandsons. Shirley was an avid coffee drinker. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughters: Kerry (David) Williams, Jr. of Culleoka, Jeannie (John) Chism of Lindale, TX; grandsons: David Williams III of Culleoka, Cody Williams of Culleoka, Chris Wilson of Gillette, WY; three great grandchildren; brothers: Jack Eugene (Jackie) Brumberlow of Illinois, Ricky (Martha) Brumberlow of Arkansas, Bobby Brumberlow of Culleoka, Donald Brumberlow of Illinois; sisters: Linda Galla of Illinois, Jackie (Jim) Davis of Illinois, and Mary Brumberlow of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Leonard Campbell and her mother, Mary Christine Brumberlow.

Pallbearers will be: David Williams III, Cody Williams, Brian Brumberlow, Earl Bailey, Justin Bailey, and Tim Grizzard.
