Shirley M. Owen of Columbia, Tennessee

April 28, 1948 - June 26, 2021

Shirley M. Owen, age 73, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 3 ^rd at 10 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Shirley was born April 28, 1948 in Only, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Dallas Franklin King and the late Lucieille Mayberry King.  She worked in Home Health for South Central Human Resources.   She enjoyed fishing with her sons and grandsons and was an avid Alabama football fan.  Shirley also liked to watch the Cincinnati Reds Baseball, Titans Football, and wrestling.

She is survived by her sons: Cameron (Misty) Owen, Shane Owen, and James (Jackie) Tidwell; brother: J.W. (Patsy) King; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Owen; daughter: Lisa Deridder; brothers: Dallas King, Jr. and Donald King; and granddaughter: Amanda Grace Owen.
