Sidrah Serenity Roan

Sidrah Serenity Roan, five year old daughter of  Rontez (Jamie) Roan and Sarah Johnson, went to be in the arms of Jesus on Monday morning, March 27, 2023, after a courageous battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. She was strong. She was brave.

Sidrah was born on September 23, 2017, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. She was a caring, Batman loving, gift from God who came in this world like a superhero and saved the lives of so many. Sidrah has two brothers, Jeremiah Roan and Samuel Johnson and one sister, Kora Roan. She had a very special love for her cat, Poppy and baby doll, Landon. She loved her parents, siblings, and family so much, and will be terribly missed by so many.

In addition to her parents and siblings, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her paternal grandmother, Rochelle Roan, maternal grandmother, Debra Taylor, and aunts and uncles, Robert (Tanna), Jamorea, David (Lindsay), Barbie, Ted (Tammy), Susan, Rebekah, and Tammy Fields. She is also survived by many loving cousins and great aunts and uncles who loved her very much.

Sidrah was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ronald Roan and maternal grandfather, Jan R. Baxter.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her teachers and classmates at Trinity Lutheran Church “TLC” who deeply loved and cared for Sidrah.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM with the memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5001 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401. Any flowers or gifts may be sent to the church or to the family home at 500 Mockingbird Drive, Mt. Pleasant, TN 38474. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
