Simon Bolivar Moreno Lopez

Simon Bolivar Moreno Lopez, age 78, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at his residence.

Born on July 24, 1944, in Pelileo, Ambato, Ecuador, Simon was the son of the late Rafael Moreno and the late Graciela Rodriguez Lopez. He enjoyed reading and drawing. Above all, he loved his family, his bible and going to church. He was a member of First Family Baptist Church in Columbia. Simon loved to see, face to face, his Savior Jesus Christ.  His family knows that they will unite again in Heaven.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Blanca Moreno Benavides of Columbia, TN, daughters, Patricia (Michael) Williams of Columbia, TN, Cecilia Moreno Benavides of Columbia, TN, son, Simon Bolivar Moreno Chica of Ecuador, son in law, Michael Williams who he stated was more like a son, sister, Lourdes Ramos Lopez of Ecuador, grandchildren, Robert, Ashley, and Emily Williams, Simon, Rafael, and Sofia Moreno, nephew, Marco Antonio Paredes Moreno, Eladio Chocaire Moreno, Jorge Chocaire Moreno, nieces, Dr. Alicia Chocaire Moreno, Dr. Judith Chocaire Moreno, Beatris Chocaire Moreno and many extended family members.

Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN is assisting the family with arrangements.
