Sonda Phillips of Summertown, Tennessee

July 6, 1956 - May 3, 2021

Sonda Kay Belew Phillips, age 64, resident of Summertown, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021at her residence.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Sonda, better known as “Lucy”, was born July 6, 1956 in Maury County and was the daughter of the late Paulie Belew and the late Bessie Ketchum Belew.  She worked on the line at Maury Ohio in Lawrenceburg for thirty years before retiring.  An excellent cook, Lucy also had a green thumb and enjoyed bird watching and watching old western movies. She loved her cat Kevin who will miss her so much.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica (Jeff) Wells of Columbia; sisters, Shirley (Raymond) Berry and Peggy Belew, both of Summertown; brothers, Pete (Robbie) Belew of Summertown, Ike Belew of Summertown, Raymond (Vernie) Belew of Ethridge, and C.W. (Wanda) Belew of Memphis.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Brewer and Marion Willoughby; and brothers, Billy Belew and Max Belew.
