Stephen "Steve" Paul Venable of Spring Hill, Tennessee

October 21, 1952 - December 30, 2019

Mr. Stephen “Steve” Paul Venable, age 67, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Monday morning, December 30, 2019 at his residence.

A receiving of friends and family will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 2 - 5PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 21, 1952 in Nashville, Steve was the son of the late Porter E. Venable and the late Ruby Hendrix Venable. He previously worked at Ingram Materials for thirty-five years, which was acquired by Pine Bluff Materials whom he retired from after a total of forty years. Steve enjoyed playing pool, golfing, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. His greatest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Venable; children: Stephanie (Richard) Branch of Knoxville, Laura (Michael) Pickens of Knoxville, Jonathan (Meredith) Watkins of Christiana; sister, Pat (Tony) Merritt of Texas; grandchildren: Connor, Caroline, and Sophia Branch, Tyler, Evelyn, and Emery Pickens, and Mackenzie Watkins; several nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Ellie Mae.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Don “Butch” Venable, Wayne Venable, and Ronnie Venable.
