Steven Lott

Steven Lewis Lott, age 53, resident of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27 ^th at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hasting officiating.  Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Friday, August 26 ^th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Steven was born on September 28, 1968, in Alachua County, FL. He married Kaycee Bush Lott on March 15, 2021, whom he loved so very dear. He was a longtime member of Acts Christian Center where he was a Wednesday night Bible teacher. Steven loved God, his wife, his church, helping others, and his country very much. He was enthusiastic about politics and was a Christian conservative. Steve was very outgoing, enjoyed singing, and playing guitar. He was also an avid Florida Gator and Dallas Cowboy fan. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is truly irreplaceable and left a hole as big as his personality behind.

Along with his wife, Kaycee Lott, he is survived by his brother Lamar Head of FL, his closest friend that he thought of as a brother, Dennis Freeman of TN, step-daughters Candance Ward of SC, Crystal Bailey of FL, Ciara Roberts of TN, Cassie Oswald of TN, step-father Lonnie Head and his spiritual father and mother Larry and Cecilia Hasting of Columbia, TN. He is preceded in death by his mother Lois Head.
