Sue Carolyn Myers, age 77, beloved wife of Randall James Myers, and a resident of Five Points, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg.
Sue was born on December 14, 1946, in Bonham, Texas, and at the age of four was adopted by Jesse and Oleta Fulton Wright. She married Randy Myers on April 20, 1969, and together they spent forty-five years planting churches and pastoring in Utah, Idaho, and Washington. In her free time, Sue enjoyed arts and crafts, but her greatest love was for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. A devoted Christian and committed prayer warrior, Sue’s faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Eric (Sarah) Myers, daughter, Rebecca (Lennon) Hessdorfer, siblings, Fae Massey, Wendall Oliver, Cathy, and Roy Oliver, grandchildren, Katie Myers, Joseph Hulsey, Jordan Mullins, Jessica Weaver, and great grandchild, Jasper Weaver.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Oliver.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held at a later date at Leoma Baptist Church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
