Tammy Bennett

Tammy Bennett, 56, of Hickman County, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Dickson, Tennessee.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Tammy was born on October 26, 1968, in Franklin, Tennessee, to the late Chester Ray Malone and the late Linda Sue Shepherd Malone. She worked as a house cleaner and found joy in simple pleasures. She loved going to yard sales, spending time outdoors, and being near water—whether by a creek, lake, or just soaking in the sun. Tammy was always on the go and cherished every moment outside. She also adored her beloved dog, Rowdy, her beloved husband, Tony Bennett who was her rock. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Tammy is survived by her children, Lindsey Brown (Jonathan) and Samuel Bennett; her brothers, James (Deana) Malone, Ray Malone Jr., and Michael Malone; and her sisters, Sherry (Eddie) Brown and Dana (Mitchell) Hargrove; many cousins and other family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Bennett; niece, Ashley Malone Blough, and her brother-in-law, Malcolm Bennett.
