Teensie "Tina" Gay Stiddum Barnett

Teensie “Tina” Gay Stiddum Barnett, age 58, a resident of Burns, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Centennial Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Neapolis Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4-7PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 25, 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee, Teensie was the daughter of the late Carl Stiddum and the late Eva Woodcock Stiddum. She was a graduate of Spring Hill High School and previously worked at Pelican Manufacturing Company and Inter City Products Corp in Lewisburg. She had a special love for her beloved Jack Russell, Chico and cat, Thelma. Above all, Teensie loved her family, and especially loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Jerry Johnson of Burns; the father of her children, Tommy Barnett of Columbia; daughters: Mandy Barnett, Tiffany Barnett, Tabatha Groom all of Columbia; mother in law, Wanda Barnett of Columbia, great grandmother, Elizabeth Medkiff of Columbia; sister, Merry Kay (Randy) Williams of Charlotte; and grandchildren: Hunter Barnett, Jayston Barnett, Kyla Barnett, and Giona Barnett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tim & Jeffery Stiddum.

Pallbearers will be: Billy Erwin, Marty Erwin, Jody Groom, Martin Groom, Randel Williams, and Randy Williams. Honorary pallbearers will include the staff at Centennial CCU and her special friends, Lora & Sandra Chappell.
