Teresa Earnest

Mrs. Teresa Newman Earnest, age 51, of Loretto, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg.

Teresa was born on September 13, 1972, in Wilmington, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Teresa Bell Newman. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family and friends above all else. She would give the shirt off her back for them. She was a very loving lady and had a special place in her heart for animals. Teresa worked as a veterinary technician for many years. Her family described her as the strongest person they had ever known. Teresa will always be remembered for her fiery personality as well as her generous and caring nature.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Roderick Earnest of Loretto, TN; her children, Blue (Gunther) Sims of Memphis, TN, Vaden Randall Earnest of Loretto, TN, Tabitha (Kenneth) Wallace of New Orleans, LA and Sean Earnest of Plymouth-Sorrento, FL; her brothers, Walter Harvard Boone and Steve Farkas; and her sister, Lynn Paysee.

Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tina.

Teresa's warmth, strength, and generosity will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed.
