Terri Diane Frierson

Terri Diane Frierson, age 65, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26th at 11:00am at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Emeritus Kenneth Johnson officiating.  The family will visit with friends on Friday, May 26th from 9:00am until the service hour at 11:00am at the funeral home.  Following the service, a repass will be held at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Terri was born October 5, 1957 in Maury County and was the daughter of the late Frank Hardison, Sr. and the late Carrie Louise Frierson Galloway, who preceded her in death just last month.  She was a 1975 graduate of Central High School and also graduated from Columbia State Community College.  She worked as a secretary for Farm Bureau and a cashier at K-Mart.  She was a longtime member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading and especially reading poems.  She touched so many lives by sending people poems for different occasions.   Terri was a people person and never met a stranger.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Terri is survived by her sister, Doris Juanita Pierce of Mt. Pleasant; aunt, Sarah Frierson of Mt. Pleasant; nephew, Steven L. (Sherry) Galloway of Mt. Pleasant; niece, Gwendolyn “Gwen” M. (Noel) Galloway Wright of Columbia; a host of great nieces and great nephews; and many friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her three devoted uncles, LeeRoy Frierson, Benjamin Frierson, and William Frierson.

The Central High School Class of 1975 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
