Terrie Elaine Roland

Terrie Elaine Roland, age 55, a resident of Culleoka, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Terrie was born on July 30, 1964 and lived most of her life on a farm. She was the daughter of the late James Aubrey Smithson and the late Ethel Jean Harris Smithson. In her younger years she loved dancing and playing the fiddle. Terrie never cared much for the extravagant things in life. She was a simple lady who would do anything for anybody. She had a big heart, especially for animals. Terrie loved her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brothers: Jeff Allen (Sarah) Smithson of Culleoka, Jimmy (Jerlene) Smithson of Lewisburg, David Wayne (Sheila) Smithson of Fayetteville; brother in law, Charles Williams; sister in law, Debbie Smithson; special friends: Ronald & Susie Cates and Kathy Pedrick; numerous nieces and nephews; her beloved pets: Lena, Chase, Josie; and her multiple chickens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Peggy Jean Williams, Judy Woodard; her twin brother, Jerry Smithson; and brothers: Larry Smithson and Roger Smithson.
