Terry Lee Hill, Sr. of Goodspring, Tennessee

November 16, 1951 - September 8, 2022

Terry Lee Hill, Sr., age 70, husband of Helen Ann Junior Hill, and resident of Goodspring, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Shores Baptist Church in Goodspring, Tennessee. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 16, 1951, in Huntsville, Alabama, Terry was the son of the late Alvin M. Hill and the late Elsie Taylor Hill. He married Helen Ann Junior on June 9, 1972. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era for four years and was a recruiter for two years. He earned his associates degree from Athens State College and his degree in marketing from Calhoun College. Terry retired after working thirty-two years in civil service. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Terry L. (Jennifer) Hill, Jr., of Spring Hill, TN, daughters, Hope (Harold L.) Glover of Goodspring, TN, Bonnie (Terry) Storey of Pulaski, TN, Tiffany (Jeff) Appleton of Pulaski, TN, sisters, Debora Nichols of Athens, AL, Wanda Nichols of Athens, AL, brother in law, Charles Wayne Robison, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmie Hill and grandson, Thomas Lee Storey.
