Thelma Frances Lovell

Thelma Frances Lovell, age 79, a resident of Hampshire, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at NHC Columbia.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Delk Cemetery in Maury County. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 8, 1942, in Meridian, Mississippi, Thelma was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mamie Williams. She and her husband, Larry, of forty years, retired here from Dallas, Texas. Together they raised miniature horses and enjoyed dancing; he preceded her in death in 2009. Thelma enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and planting flowers. She was a great cook and loved listening to country music. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Michael Wayne (Peggy) Lovell of Clearwater, FL, Michelle Campbell of Hampshire, TN, Denise (Rudy) Lovell of Hampshire, grandchildren, Amanda Lovell, Ashley (Yuriy) Chavarha, Misty Lynn (Joseph) Smiley, Blake (Adrienne) Lovell, and great grandchildren, Emma Smiley, Camden Smiley, Chloe Chavarha.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry, Billy, Lowell, Alpheus, and Raymond Williams, sisters, Katherine Ledger, Hazel House, and grandson, Christopher Lovell.
