Theodore (Ted) Paul Stelmack of Linden, Tennessee, passed away on February 27th, 2024 at the age of 61. He passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from cancer.

Ted was born to Ted and Hazel Stelmack on April 24th, 1962, in Webster, Massachusetts. He was a very skilled man, often referred to as a jack of all trades. Ted most enjoyed woodworking, and he created many beautiful pieces in his lifetime for his customers and loved ones. Ted also loved to be by the water, whether it was the ocean or the Tennessee River out on his boat fishing and drinking a Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee.

Ted is survived by his two daughters, Sara Villanueva and Courtney Schweinler (son-in-law Dillan Schweinler). He is also survived  by his sister, Cheryl Strothkamp (brother-in-law Mark Strothkamp) and their two sons, Grant and Tyler Strothkamp. Additionally, he leaves behind 5 grandchildren who he loved dearly: Sara’s children, Eric (12), Ellyanna (11), and Emma (8) Villanueva, and Courtney’s children, Theodore (18 months) and unborn grandson, Oliver Schweinler. Ted was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Hazel Stelmack. Ted loved all of his family dearly.

Ted’s family will be hosting a burial service at Poplin Hollow Cemetery on April 28th, 2024 at 11:30am CST. The burial service will be followed by a celebration of life on Ted’s property. The family will be providing lunch for all those attending the celebration of life. Please message Courtney Schweinler on Facebook if you would like to be in attendance.
