Thomas F. Greathouse of Spring Hill, Tennessee

Thomas Frederick Greathouse, 73, resident of Spring Hill, passed away Friday, August 16 at The Reserve of Spring Hill.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Born February 21, 1946 in Marshfield, WI, son of the late Grannison and Helen Beidel Greathouse and husband of Mary Madden Greathouse. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era. Thomas worked as the I.T. manager for the Job Corps department with the federal government. He was extremely creative, making birthday cakes and costumes at Halloween for the grandchildren. He loved to do woodworking and his family referred to him as Mr. Fix It. He will be remembered as a kind loving and patient person.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jason (Kendra) Greathouse and Jessica Gipson, both of Spring Hill; sisters: Judith Levin and Patricia Roberts, both of Titusville, FL; his loving grandchildren: Amelia Greathouse, Zachary Greathouse and Aiden Gipson. He was preceded in death by a brother: Clyde Greathouse.
