Thomas Eugene Pennock

Thomas Eugene Pennock, age 82, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at NHC Columbia.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Army.  A visitation will also be held on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born on April 12, 1940, in Maury County, Tennessee and attended Maury County Public Schools. He served four tours in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired from Union Carbide and previously worked in security at Walmart and for the Maury County Land Disposal. In 2014, Thomas and his friend, Larry, were baptized at Sharp’s Corner Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching westerns, riding motorcycles, fishing, and eating out. He loved listening to Rock N Roll music.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his special friends, Richard Conner, Larry Hines, Donald & Linda Love, and Randy Davidson.

Pallbearers will be Richard Conner, Larry Hines, Barry Conner, Levi Conner, Jonathan Conner, and Randy Davidson. Honorary pallbearers will include past employees of Union Carbide.
