Thomas Vincent of Savannah, Tennessee

Thomas Wayne “Arab” Vincent, age 67, a resident of Savannah, previously of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Hardin Medical Center.

Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 15, 1953, in Great Falls, Montana, Arab was the son of the late Thomas Edison Vincent, and the late Katie McNeese Vincent. He worked as a truck driver for 30 years. An excellent mechanic, he also enjoyed working in his shop, racing cars and motorcycles. If you ever met Arab, you would never forget him.

He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Funk Vincent of Savannah, children: Becky (Randy) Qualls of Crump, TN, John Vincent of Centerville; stepson: Joe Provence of Savannah; sisters: Lottie Gower of Mt. Pleasant, Brenda Austin of Chapel Hill, Debra (Bootie) Whitwell of Lynnville; grandchildren: Lacy (Ben) Everett, Kristin Farris, Cory Qualls, Megan Provence, Whitney Provence; great grandchildren: Ann Carol Everett, Rose Qualls, Charlee Everett, Jamie Qualls, Will Everett, and Bentley Provence.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepson: John Provence; and mother and father in law: Oscar and Beulah Funk.
