Thyra Belinda Heyd

Thyra Belinda Heyd passed away in Giles county Tennessee. She was 68 years old. Thyra was born on March 13, 1953 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Vernon Clar and Patricia Ann Sweet. Thyra was also preceded in death by her late husband Edward Elton Heyd and her brother Richard Charles Sweet.

Thyra spent a lot of her life in Bristol Michigan where she was an avid member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She later moved to Giles county Tennessee to be closer to her family.

Thyra was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known for her quick wit and infectious humor. She knew how to have fun and never met a stranger. She enjoyed studying herbs, walking outside, fishing, and loved to garden. Thyra received higher education in the study of herbs.

Thyra is survived by her only daughter Stephnie Wong, (Doug) of Lynnville, her brother Bruce Sweet of Arizona, her four grandchildren: Nicole Welch of Spring Hill, Caleb Wood of Lynnville, Emily Wood, of Lynnville, Alyssa Wood of Spring Hill. Also, she is survived by her neice Denice Sweet, and five nephews Mickey Sweet, Zane Sweet, Vernon Sweet, Gilbert Sweet, and Demitre Sweet.

She will eternally missed and forever in our hearts.
